Metry, born March 24, 2014. This beautiful 16.2 hand gelding is athletic, intelligent, inquisitive, and extremely safe. Metry's mother, Marquee, is a Rambo baby (top US Dressage stallion) and his father is Willemoes (World Cup Jumper). This combination has produced an exquisite Dressage mover and a developing Hunter/Jumper.

As a large gelding, Metry is light in the hands and leg. He is extremely responsive to your seat and loves a new challenge. This boy has been handled since birth. At six months we began hacking him on the farm trails, through the woods and over logs. This hands on training has produced a loving and kind horse. Metry has no bad habits, as he loads easy, stands for the farrier, doesn't bite or kick. Because he is such a large horse, we did not start training until later to ensure healthy bone growth. This winter, Metry competed in his first Dressage show at Training 1. His score was a solid 61 for his first show and was a truly calm and professional boy. Metry needs his own "person" to take him through the levels. There is no limit to his potential. This month we have begun to take him over jumps and he truly is enjoying this new challenge. Our boy would be perfect of a amateur or professional rider, as his talent and personality is evident.
