Proudly offering this incredibly handsome and sweet 3yo Black Friesian Cross Gelding, Registered FHH. He has just returned to Wichita following 60 days of professional training with Jeff Damphouse in Oklahoma, and boy does he have an amazing start to his riding career. Under saddle, he is w/t/c, starting to move off leg (baby leg yields), trail riding, walking through deep water, and has done a baby x-rail. Obviously, he is young and green, but extremely straightforward. No buck, rear, bolt, or bad habits with a rider. Tries hard and always wants to please his rider, regardless of who is on his back. Stands for mounting from the ground or block. Has great brakes. As of now, he is a little on the lazy side and more of a push ride, which isn't a negative given his age and that he is clearly relaxed with a rider. The forward button is coming along with each training ride. He has three great gaits that are incredibly comfortable to sit and naturally balanced. I see him going very far in the dressage ring if that’s where his path takes him!

On the ground, he has wonderful manners and understands boundaries and personal space. Whether you’re leading or riding, he doesn’t bat at dogs, cats, cows, donkeys, mini horses, or children running around the farm or arena. He normally uses his brain to think through new situations and trusts when his person says “it’s ok”. Cross ties, bathes, trailers, lunges, stands for farrier and for grooming/braiding.

This is a rare NO DRAMA horse that is also an EASY KEEPER. Will do fine in any turnout situation as he has been turned out with both mares and geldings, alone and in groups. No issues being partially stalled or 24/7 turnout. Comes to the gate when called and always happy to see you. He is BAREFOOT with amazing feet and no need to add shoes anytime soon. UTD on everything. On 8/2, started Dressage training in a professional program with his owner and USDF Silver Medalist.
