Monterey (“Monte”) is a strikingly beautiful, 12 year-old black 17.2 hands registered Hanoverian gelding from Madison. He was started late in his life but is coming along very well. He is smart and picks up on new movements quickly and does not mind to go to work. He has a lovable, puppy-dog personality, is not herd bound at all and could be kept as an only horse.
Monte is very forward going, his trot is comfortable to sit and so is his canter. He recently went to his first official first level show and won in all of his three classes. We will keep working on 2nd level movements in preparation for 2nd level tests. He has been exposed to clinics, schooling shows and recognized shows. He loads/trailers, cross ties, bathes and stands for the farrier. Up to date on shots, USEF and USDF registration current.
A good new home is a must for this lovable, friendly guy.
