Mountain Legion, aka Lucy, is a 2007 Irish Sporthorse filly by the RID stallion Mountain Pearl out of our best producing thoroughbred mare, Legion. Legion is an elegant mover, and with her size & substance she consistently produces excellent Irish Sporthorse foals. Her foals have wonderful jumping ability. Her first Irish Sporthorse foal was purchased as a Pan Am hopeful. Mountain Pearl is no longer standing in the US, having been exported to Ireland to improve upon the Irish breeding program. Lucy is one of the last Pearl foals produced in the states. Lucy looks very much like her sire when he was a 5yr old and has his wonderful disposition. Pearl foals are legendary for their temperaments. Lucy is very bold, yet very calm. As a yearling she is already 15h and will top 16h easily. This filly will make a great eventer.
