Mr Perfect is aptly named because he is simply...perfect. A GRP/Welsh cross by Makuba, himself an imported champion and sire of multiple champions, out of Tide Creek Obsidian, a Welsh mare. This cross has sired several coast to coast Pony champions! Mr Perfect spent the first several years of his life on his breeder's farm where he received training in groundwork and manners. He grew up in pasture with buddies, developing exceptional bone density, sure footedness and social skills. Now stabled in a barn with a box stall transitioning with no fuss. Mr Perfect is kind, loving, friendly, willing, and loves to train. He is smart and curious, always happy, eager to please. Show him something once and he's got it! Three lovely expressive gaits. Moves laterally off leg. Has changes. Has jumped up to 3' and coursed up to 2'6. Can make the turns. Has jumped a 2'3 hogsback oxer with a 5' spread without thinking twice. Solids, brush, ditch, huge logs, a-frame, skinnies, coops, benches, oxers, NO problem. It's easy for him. Super cute expression through the bridle! Solid bone, perfect legs and feet, barefoot, perfect health history. Ties, cross ties, clips, clip ears with no twitch, longes, hops in trailer, bathes, blankets, ride at night under lights, used to busy eq center environment, no vices whatsoever, loves all people and other animals. Acts and moves like a horse. Tremendous talent for 3-day, jumper, pony club. Dressage gaits though I do not prefer him to go to a dressage-only home. Most definitely amazing for a small adult, as he is horse like. I love training him and I am 5'5 with long legs. Added bonus: he trail rides, and camps. He has completed TWO AERC sanctioned LD (25 miles) endurance rides, with excellent vet scores and passes horses with a longer stride. Manages extremely tough, technical trails with difficult ascents and descents. Crosses water. Hauled from So Cal to Nor Cal, unloading at truck stops and ignores the air brakes and leads around as if he was home. You simply cannot go wrong as there is NOTHING this pony won't do well. Gorgeous dappled bay. I am toying with keeping him but could still be available to an exceptional home. Makuba get at the farm where he stands start at this price, even unstarted under saddle. If you are looking for a hunter or jumper pony for an talented junior or lady rider, an endurance pony, or better yet a pony/horse capable of doing a bit of everything plus trails, plus camping AND being a best friend, you honestly will not find another like him. **UPDATE: Competed in first show taking 3 blues in hunters, hunt seat eq, and hunter under saddle against horses! Completed a Trail Trails, taking home 2nd in novice! Within a week of each other.
