This boy is AMAZING. You rarely come across youngsters that are this sensible, sweet and an absolute pleasure to work with and be around. Diego has three very good, naturally comfortable and balanced gaits and he is built extremely uphill. He wants to be with people and do the right thing. I think he has the perfect AA temperament… with a slight bit more whoa than go, isn’t spooky and has excellent ground manners. Diego turned three June 23, 2021 and he has had about 30 rides so far. He handled the move from Colorado to Aiken SC like a champ. He is obviously very green, but has had a slow, kind start.

Uno Don Diego is the whole package of exceptional athletic ability, wonderful temperament and incredible genetics. As a competitive dressage horse, he won through Intermediaire I. His offspring are modern sport horses, winning at breed shows and keurings. Uno’s foals have three quality gaits and good temperaments. He consistently improves rhythm and balance to all three gaits, but especially adds balance to the canter. Uno Don Diego’s sire is Dressage Royal whose bloodlines include the prolific Donnerhall x Rubinstein I.

In addition, to cap off his unparalleled career, for four consecutive years (2005-2008), Ijsselmeer was either the Grand Prix or the Grand Prix Freestyle California Dressage Society's Horse of the Year Champion, as well as the USDF Region 7's Grand Prix or Grand Prix Freestyle Reserve Champion. Ijsselmeer has sired an incredible amount of upper level champions.
