Start 2024 with a handsome, sporty gelding!

Neapolitano Kulpa, aka Kai, is exceptionally bred for dressage. His dam, Kulpa, was imported from Austria's Piber stud and then went on to a successful show career. Both of Kai's parents qualified and competed at the US Dressage Finals in Kentucky.

Kai is an outstanding mover, with natural balance and comfortable gaits to ride and sit. He was purposely bred as a stallion prospect at Mississippi View Farm and was bought by his current owner as a weanling. Kai has only had one owner, and was raised in a large, hilly pasture with gelding friends. Kai was kept a colt, and as he grew and developed, it was decided that his unique genetics and outstanding movement were of stallion quality. His owner bred him to a few select mares, all while being started under saddle and living outside with a group of geldings.

Kai was started in the spring of 2022 when he was physically strong and mature enough to start correctly. He was never pushed or rushed for young horse classes or showing aspirations. He was trained in the most correct way - going forward, hacking out in groups from the very beginning. After few months of basics, he was given two months off to grow and resumed training in the fall of 2022 after being gelded. He quickly settled in to gelding life and is now getting solid under saddle, learning the basics of connection, and continuing to get more miles hacking out. Kai is a confident, bold horse that has been handled and trained correctly from the start - and it shows!

Kai is still green under saddle and needs an experienced rider to finish him and start his show career. He has all the pieces to be an upper level star. He is bold and brave and not for a timid rider.

Kai has always been barefoot, is UTD on everything, has never taken a lame step in his life, and is fat on air! In true Lipizzan fashion, he is an easy keeper and easy to live with. He ties, clips, loads well, trailers alone, and is NOT a fearful or nervous horse.
