5 yr old 17.2h registered and microchipped Oldenburg gelding. He is very personable and friendly, always comes up to you in the field and enjoys being fussed over. He is good for the farrier and vet, goes barefoot and trailers very well. He has been to a few schooling shows and places well. He’s the same at home and off the farm. I usually take him right off the trailer and get on and go straight to the schooling or show ring. He can walk right into the ring without schooling and be unfazed by his surroundings. He gets compliments everywhere he goes. His lead changes are almost automatic and he is a great child/adult candidate as he’s a kick ride and can take a joke. I’ve used him in lessons for intermediate riders learning to jump and he packs them around like he’s been doing it for years. He’s even taught a beginner how to post. He’s not bothered by much at all and can be ridden in open fields no problem. He’s got a canter you can ride for days. He is currently turned out 24/7, but can live in a stall just as easy. Doesn’t mind being in the barn by himself or the only horse around. I've ridden him in the dark quite a bit and never spooks. He's very laid back overall. Contact for more info.
