“Niko” is a 2018 KWPN gelding imported in June of 2021 with clean x rays and full vetting available upon request. Niko has been kind and affectionate from day one, and has been so fun to ride. His gaits are elegant and lofty, comfortable for any rider, with a self-powered motor. With Jazz being the damsire, “Niko” is sensitive to the aids without being overly hot or reactive as we so often hear about direct Jazz offspring. I believe this horse has true potential to go all the way to the top with his natural ability to both collect and extend so effortlessly at only three years old. He would also be a great candidate for the FEI young horse tests, and would certainly be ready to compete this winter to qualify for 4 yo. Niko is learning half steps on the ground in long lines, and has offered flying changes under saddle. He is beginning work on the first level fundamentals- smaller circles, leg yields, shallow counter canter, and shoulder-fore. His sire, Just For You, is by the great Uthopia who competed successfully at an international level with the one and only Carl Hester, but has also sired many great talents through FEI. Niko is easy to handle and trailer, and is a gem on new property- he truly is suitable for any rider! Grab him in time for the winter show season!
