“NoNo" is the first foal from Zamboni Babe MPT, our second generation premium Holsteiner mare. She is by the amazing hunter stallion Cunningham, this fantastic grey mare should mature around 17h - Currently sticks just under 17h as a 5 year old.
I've delayed advertising her because I _really_ like her, but have made the tough decision to sell. I can't keep all of them sadly. My loss is a great opportunity for a lucky rider.
She was born following people around and has been a dream to develop. She cross-ties, clips (inside ears without _any_ drugs or restraint!), walks right onto my trailer, stands for the farrier and is the love of my vet. She is always the first one to come running to the fence to greet people. Her trot is long and floating, her canter well balanced. In the video sent for her Holsteiner approvals she showed off natural tempi changes.
She was rated premium as a foal by the Holsteiner Verband and is fully registered with them, is microchipped, has a lifetime USEF number, and FEI passport. She has shown in hand and the jump chute at the Young Horse Show (YHS) Series since she was a yearling. I'm an AA dressage/jumper rider, and I’ve been able to start her by myself; slowly since she’s a big girl. This past year I showed her in some local dressage classes along with competing in the under saddle classes at the YHS. At the 2024 YHS at Tryon Equestrian Center, she was reserve champion in hand 4 yo, 3rd in the jump chute, 6th under saddle, and 4th in all ages Dressage test of choice. All with AA me in the saddle. All her score sheets are available for review.
She’s also been out on trails and through the woods, over bridges, and logs. We’ve started her over fences and she has been super willing. I’ve had a couple other amateur friends ride her and she never puts a foot wrong. Everyone loves NoNo!
She travels alone or with others in the trailer, can be pastured alone, or with other horses. She is the low girl in the pecking order on the farm, she truly gets along with everyone. This girl will be a top show horse in the hunter or dressage ring, or make a fabulous AA Jumper. She could easily be developed by a strong amateur rider, or a novice with a trainer.
She is so much fun to ride I haven’t advertised her, much to my husband’s dismay. But if I want to keep breeding, I’ve got to open up some stalls. Her price is negotiable to a show home, or perfect fit.
