FROM THE SAME DAM LINE AS JUDGEMENT ISF, Colt born May 4, 2018, is by Balou du Rouet, out of Fair Katie, a 2010 KWPN-NA Ster, IBOP, Sport mare by one of the top show jumper stallions, Zirocco Blue VDL.

Balou du Rouet, the best son of his legendary father, Baloubet du Rouet.
A sire of international standing, and this, at a relatively young age. In 2017, Balou du Rouet is ranked 9th in the WBFSH world show jumping ranking. So far, in Germany alone, 200 of Balou’s progeny are successful at advanced level/S level. The lifetime earnings of his descendants have already reached over 3.2m euros. 55 of Balou's sons have been licensed.
With such a first-class pedigree, success is inevitable. Balou du Rouet’s sire, Baloubet du Rouet, three times World Cup winner, winner of individual Olympic Gold with Rodrigo Pessoa and sire to a multitude of international sport horses, is a producer beyond any doubt. The dam Georgia, also produced the licensed stallion Cornet´s Balou, winner of the German national championships of five-year-old show jumpers in 2011. Dam sire Continue combines two of the most appreciated Holstein performance genes of Contender and Tin Rocco.

Fair Katie competed in the jumper ring up to 1.30m. In all these classes, Fair Katie was clear, without faults and always in the top ribbons. At Rocky Mountain Show Jumping June Classic I, CSI2*(2017), she was 1.30m division champion. Fair Katie is very brave, has a big heart and loves to compete. She earned her “Sport” predicate with the KWPN-NA studbook with ease, jumping all clear rounds.

Fair Katie’s sire, Zirocco Blue VDL, under rider Jur Vrieling, is a KWPN Keur stallion that has achieved several very impressive international results. They won the Team Gold Medal at the European Championship and individually were 5th. In the Las Vegas World Cup final they finished 10th. The World Cup of Oslo, the Grand Prix’s of Kopenhagen, Melsomvik (2x) and Geesteren, the Masters in Mechelen - all saw Zirocco wearing the winner’s sash. North Star VDH goes back to the Keur Prestatie mare NOVA, the FULL sister to Judgement ISF Crown (Consul X Akteur Ster Preferent X Lucky Boy xx).

This mare Nova, produced a 2nd ring Stallion Zenith SCF Ster Sport (full brother to North Star's granddam, Bellara SCF) who was the first KWPN-NA Stallion prospect to be born in the USA, and exported to the Netherlands (by VDL Stud!).
Zenith SCF was also the Champion 4yr old jumper in Belgium.
There are 3 Balou du Rouet offspring out of Nova. All 3 are excelling at their studbook inspections and in sport. Eclipse SCF (2009), an Elite mare was site champion and IBOP national champion at her KWPN-NA studbook inspection. Fortuna SCF, Sport (2010), competing successfully in eventing, 4th place at a CCI2* competition July 2018. Gaia SCF (2011), in the ribbons with clear rounds jumping 1.30m in the YJC 6 yr olds at WEF 2017.

North Star VDH has the 3 "P's", Presence, Personality and Power. He is an exceptional colt that is very brave and bold. He has exceptional conformation and a powerful mover with excellent technique. All the right qualities required for a successful sport horse. He will excel as a hunter, jumper or eventer horse. His sire and dam sire are producing many grand prix offspring and North Star VDH is expected to be another. He is handled daily, stands quietly for the farrier and is halter trained.
KWPN-NA registration comes with lifetime USEF horse registration and micro-chip.
