Oakleys sire FONTAINE TN (FINEST X SAMARANT)
Fontaine’s sire Finest was declared premium stallion and has already claimed remarkable results in the young horse competitions. The Fürstenball son is also making progress as a progenitor of dressage horses, as the successes of his offspring at inspections, auctions and under the saddle are outstanding.
Finest turns out to be a champion maker and Fontaine TN carries also valuable genes from his damline. Both his dam Sky and granddam Gilette were declared Staatspremie-stute and Sky is a half-sister of the international Small Tour dressage horse Raptor 3 (by Rubin Royal) of Karen Böckmann
The talented Fontaine TN is free of influential breeding stallions Jazz, Flemmingh, Gribaldi and is facing a great future for both sport and breeding. Not only in this context is this excellent Fontaine TN an asset, he also impresses with his qualities and appearance. His offspring fulfils the high hopes by their size, appearance and great movement.
On Oakleys Dams side are the the stalllions Bon Bavour and Lancett
Bon Bravour was one of the most popular stallins in 2012. That’s not surprising because so many superlatives come to mind when you see this impressive dressage stallion and his unbelievably elastic, light-footed movements, enormous impulsion and a talent for collection that is simply marvelous. Bon Bravour won the KWPN stallion show series in 2012 and 2011, took the Reserve Champion title in the 2011 Dutch Pavo Cup and then finished fifth with his permanent rider, Tom Franckx-Goen, in the 2011 World Championships in the class for five-year old dressage horses. In 2012 he again qualified for the Final but had to be withdrawn because of an injury. He often received scores above 9.0 – also for his walk which is distinguished by long strides!
Lancet is a son of the well-known dressage sire Wenzel I, by Woerman. The "W" line in Hannover has also brought forth the excellent stallions Welcome, World Cup I, Western Star and Weltmeyer. The dam of Lancet, Stella, by Shogun xx, boasts Absatz as the sire of her second dam. His granddam is a full sister to Argentan. Lancet was approved by the KWPN as a three year old, achieving two 8's and two 8.5's as part of his dressage scores. After his approval he won the stallion competition two years in a row. Lancet has gone on to the highest level in dressage with rider Imke Schellekens-Bartels. The pair competed on the Dutch Olympic Team, placing 11th in the individual competition and 4th in the team competition. Lancet was the ambassador for the Dutch at the Olympic Games in Athens. Some results of this still-young combination are: Winner CHIO Rotterdam intermediate I, fourth place Maastricht in the Prix St. George, third place Mechelen in Intermediare, second place at Mechelen in the international Prix St Georges. In 2002 ten offspring of Lancet were eligible for the final half of the PAVO Cup for four and five year old dressage horses. In 2006 Uzzo (Lancet x C Indoctro) was Champion of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, scoring an amazing 9.0 for trot, and 8.6 for canter. At the 2006 Zwolle Stallion Show, son Sumarik placed 9th in the preliminary rounds for FEI 6 year old division. Lancet’s current breeding index is 143. In 2008, Lancet competed in the Olympics in Bejing. AT the 2008 CDI London Olympia Horse Show, the Kbis Dressage Horse of the Year was awarded to Lancet, who finished fourth in the team test and seventh overall at the Olympics.
