Meet Obsidian. Sid as we call him is a 2016 unregistered Andalusian gelding. He stands just shy of 16h (although his build is slight) and he is a stunning Smokey black color (black except in summer when he bleaches). Sid came to me after going through a bit of a rough patch in life. After giving him some down time I started him back to work in long lines and he is now in regular work under saddle. While I would still consider him green and would definitely say he’s lacking confidence, he is very naturally balanced and is going nicely at around 1st level dressage. He has 3 lovely gaits with more reach in the trot than most of his breed and the typical amazing canter you would expect. He is extremely sweet and personable, has wonderful manners, and is easy to be around. Sid is looking for a patient experienced rider to bond with. When he finds that there is plenty of talent for FEI dressage or working equitation. He is located in Hudson, NY and is sound and healthy with no vices or maintenance required.
