Beautiful, talented, proven FEI mare for sale. Lovely gaits and easy to sit! Imported KWPN mare, “Ockie” has shown successfully through I-1 with many wins and high placings including FEI high score awards and championships including reserve young rider PSG reserve champion at the 2010 BLM finals and numerous other accomplishments. In 2012 she was ridden by a jr. who competed her at 3rd level and in the FEI juniors. She qualified for Devon, Regional championships and BLM championships. Before leasing Ocarina, the rider had only competed training level.
This mare is consistent! Consistently scoring in the low to mid 60’s at PSG and I-1, she is fun and easy to ride and show. Suitable for an amateur, junior. Ockie has also taught lessons to amateurs and junior who have not ever worked above 1st level giving them their first real feel of FEI. She is a patient teacher and only gets better and better as students begin to develop a feel for the upper level work. Ockie would also make a wonderful candidate for a potential NAJYRC horse.
Ockie shows well and is easy to handle. She works well in the snaffle or double and is worked regularly in both. She hacks out and can be worked outside in the field as well as in the ring.
