Oceana ISF is an elegant 16h 2019 KWPN-NA filly sired by Sir Sinclair, Keur, and out of the big-moving Dutch Harness mare Katruus, Star/PROK/Prov. Keur, by Colonist. As a foal, Oceana was named 1st Premium at her KWPN-NA keuring with praise for her good conformation and elastic gaits, in particular her strong canter. The cross of Sir Sinclair on the Dutch Harness mare base has proven to be a golden one with numerous examples now showing successfully at the FEI levels of dressage, including Haiku, Evangalina, and ChooChoo Charlie among others.

Sire Sir Sinclair, Keur, is considered one of the most prolific sires of FEI Dressage horses worldwide and has been ranked as the #1 Dressage Sire by USEF for the last six years. As a performance horse himself, Sir Sinclair was Markel/USEF National Champion and Reserve National Champion as a 6 and 5-Year-Old, respectively, and then showed successfully through PSG level with scores above 72%. Sir Sinclair has sired numerous Grand Prix Dressage horses as well as breed show champions, Keur and Star mares, KWPN-NA Top Ten Award winners, and was awarded the Keur predicate by the KWPN based on his excellent progeny.

Dam Katruus, marked with an elegant type and ground covering movement, is sired by Colonist and out of the mare A Truus by Manno, Preferent. Katruus was awarded 1st Premium Star and provisional Keur in 2018 and was also Champion Harness Two-Year-Old for the KWPN-NA in 2017. Katruus’ maternal granddam was awarded the Sport predicate based on her success in performance and the damline has also produced the approved stallion Delviro HBC, closely related to Katruus.
