Oriana is our beautiful bright chestnut GOV Premium filly by the Trakehner stallion EH Connery, out of our lovely Oldenburg mare Olivia, by Don Kennedy.

Oriana has apparently inherited the jumper gene from her great grandsire Argentinus as she willingly free jumps if left at liberty in an arena with obstacles. The GOV judges commented at her inspection that she was particularly likely an ideal hunter prospect based on her build, personality, and lovely movement. Oriana definitely inherited her mother's steady temperament and is a favorite of all who meet her. She is quite a "people horse", so she constantly comes up to anyone who comes to visit.

We have only done basic ground work with her due to her young age. She calmly leads, ties, loads, stands for the farrier and the vet, and longes with voice and body language commands. She has also been saddled and bridled and is wearing tack during her weekly workouts.
