Perko has found a great home! I’m excited to watch his progress! Perko just turned 9 in March. Perko is a registered Hanoverian gelding started in dressage. He had surgery in December 2022, rested until December 2023 and then started slowly walking and progressing to trot this spring. Currently he walks trails and trots straight lines in the ring, also walking trails to build his muscles back up. Video of Perk rehabbing is included. Perko will require an experienced rider that can handle him if he bucks.
I can not continue with him, so I am looking to sell or trade. I would consider trading for a solid trail horse(breed doesn’t matter) that can go out alone or in a group and carry a good size rider. I will only let him go to a good home that will have his best interest in mind. I can give you veterinary contact that has been with him thru his surgery and rehab. His prognosis is good at this point, although he may need injections in the future.
Perko is a sweet horse and very calm to be around. Perko was born and raised here, and has only ever had one owner. He has no aggressions towards people or other horses. He’s a big love bug. At my farm he is kept in a stall and turned out with multiple mares.
