Beautiful 2020 Dutch KWPN colt with incredible presence.

Pferdinand is an extremely athletic colt with power and grace. He has a very good rectangular type, with an exceptional neck, sloping shoulder, great loin connection, powerful hind leg and expressive front leg. He also has a beautiful head with an intelligent expression. Should mature to 16.2+ He is very friendly, curious and really likes people. Also he is already showing real talent and scope for what it takes to make a top FEI performance horse.
 
Pferdinand’s sire is Gaudi SSF, imported by Shooting Star Farm in 2018. Gaudi (Totilas x De Niro) comes from Holland’s highest indexed dressage mare lines, a dressage dynasty. And Totilas is already one of the most influential dressage sires of all time. Gaudi himself made it through the rigorous KWPN stallion selection process only to have a career ending injury prior to the 70-day test.

Greas R, Pferdinand’s dam is Keur Eligible PROK. She was trained up to L- level jumping prior to having her first foal in the Netherlands. She was imported in 2017 and has trained up 3rd level dressage so far as well as having two foals. Greas R is by the famous Gelderlander stallion Koss who was known for his performance in both jumping and dressage as well as modernizing gelders breeding direction in Holland. He has had many approved sons and consistently stamps his offspring with great talent.

Pferdinand truly has the easiest most friendly character and will be very fun to train and show. He is a real charmer and will quickly be the barn favorite.
