Pfrankenstein DF has what it takes to get you noticed in the show ring, he not only got his fathers flashy markings, he's an elegant mover and with fluid gates. He earned Silver premium at inspections and was told he was a lovely colt following in his fathers footsteps. He also competed as a yearling and 2 year old in the USEA future event horse program, winning both times with qualifying scores for national championships.
Having just turned 3, he has not had an official 30-60 day backing yet. He has however had training sessions every 2-3 weeks through the winter and spring and has made unexpected advancement in his training. He has quietly been started under saddle with natural horseman techniques and walked and trotted under saddle without any protest. He really enjoys his riding sessions and ready for full time training. He is a very friendly guy eager to learn and with a puppy dog attitude. He's ready to take his training to the next level and suitable for multiple english discipline. He currently stands around 16-16.1 and i believe will finish out around 16.1-16.2 . He has been vetted sound and travels fabulous, self loads etc. He does have a scar on one eye from him poking it on something, but it was quickly repaired surgically and does not impair his vision. Because of this blemish i have him priced slightly lower, serious inquires will have full disclosure to my vet to reassure them.
*UPDATE:
Pfrank passed a pre purchase exam at our states most prestigious Vet hospital with top Vets and surgeons in the state! He flexed soundly everywhere on concrete and barefoot. He was hoof tested all around with no reaction. A thorough eye exam was given of his old injury and was concluded it healed perfect and does will not keep him from any level of discipline, it is purely cosmetic. X-rays were taken of all feet, hocks and stifles . The overall all impression from the vet was that he was very impressed with Phrank and gave his stamp of approval for any level of discipline with no concerns of any major issues. His hocks and stifles were clear and looked great. His hoofs are nice and solid with thick walls and good shape. He did see two very small bone spurs, one on each pastern. These did not concern him and are common in large horse, they were no where near the joints and wont cause any discomfort. The only other finding was in comparing his two front feet, his right heal was slightly lower in degree and his navicular bone showed up ever so slightly whiter in the X-ray. Again, there was no lameness or hoof test reaction and this did not concern the multiple vets that looked at it. It was recommended to put front shoes on prank to support the heals and get the angle degree perfect. This in result will stop and correct any pressure and prevent any future issues. He will be receiving full shoes at the end of May to correct this!
Overall with multiple vets blessing that Pfrank is vetted sound and ready to be put to full work. In the age of advanced veterinary medicine the 100% horse is a very rare thing to come by, especially in large warmbloods. I do however happily offer him for sale as a fabulous sport horse and confidently backed by the options of my vets and surgeons. I have however taken these minor imperfections into consideration and have marked his price down until he is fulling started in the fall. Im hoping this will help him find the most perfect home since I'm giving full disclosure on all things Pfrank! I am happy to answer any questions you may have on this fabulous boy!!
