Phoenix is a 4 YO, 15 hand, Trakehner/Connemara pony cross. He is highly intelligent, loves attention, and is willing to please. He is best suited for a advanced beginner/intermediate rider. He works best with consistent riding/handling. He was started with natural horsemanship at 1.5, and started under saddle at 2 1/2. He was shown intro level dressage in September 2008 with scores in the upper 50's and one 62. He has great movement and is well balanced.

HE IS CURRENTLY IN HIS THIRD MONTH OF TRAINING. HE IS DOING EXCELLENT, HIS TRAINERS REALLY LOVE HIM. HE IS BEING SHOWN THIS SEASON AT A FEW SHOWS AT TRAINING LEVEL...HE WILL ALSO BE STARTED OVER JUMPS SOON. HIS TRAINER HAS BEEN DOING ALL SORTS OF "MOVES" WITH HIM....HE IS A REAL TROOPER AND IS LEARNING QUICKLY!!!

SHOWED HIM TRAINING LEVEL 1 AND 2 THIS WEEKEND...AWESOME RESULTS FOR HIS SECOND SHOW. BLUE RIBBON TRAINING ONE (67%).

He is a prospect for dressage, 3 day eventing, huntseat, or jumping. He is also very comfortable on trail.

Due to his abilities, Phoenix needs to go to a home where he has a rider who can excel with him...I am not that person.

He has excellent ground manners, great with farrier, trailers well, and gets along great with other horses. He is UTD on all vaccinations, trims, wormings, coggins, etc.
