Prince Royal -- FEI Potential -- Payment Plan Available

Prince Royal (Roy) is a black, handsome, modern Dutch Warmblood colt, by Ampere, out of Lailah with FEI potential. He displayed glimpses of his awesome talent. He moves with clean gaits that are GROUND COVERING gaits. His trot is big with ground covering strides. Prince Royal, naturally comes up through the back to produce a huge jump into a lifting canter. As he matures it will become more impressive.

Gracefully Prince Royal, "Roy" movement comes from strong hindquarters. Roy is VERY COURIOUS AND SMART IS IN TRAINING AND LEARNS QUICKLY. He likes to work with people and looks to his trainer for “what’s next”. He knows word commands: walk, trot, canter, over - to move him over and stand to stand in place. longline on long line and free, saddle on and bridle. Started turn on the forehand and hind quarters on the ground in hand. Began side rains. He moves a lot like his dam, Lailah who was: scored #1 Dutch dressage horse, for All of North America as a 2-year-old keuring in 2017. You see the canter of his sire Ampere, and grand sire-Totalis that come through his dam.

He carries several world champions in his lineage: Ampere, Flemmingh, Governor, Totalis and Lailah Prince Royal will take you to the upper levels in dressage.

He is currently 16.3 hands, and still growing. Black in color, but can fade in sun- like sire, Ampere fades . Should mature to be 17+ hands tall. He is healthy and up to date on vaccines, deworming, dental care and farrier. Was gelded on 2-28-2022. Will consider contract, and payments for this lovely horse and flexible on price. Ampere

Ampere, Prince Royal’s sire, is a well-known world champion who stole the show anytime he stepped into the ring.

In 2008 Ampere won the Dutch performance test - the 70 days performance test in Ermelo - Dream Scores, of his extra ordinary qualities: walk 8, trot 9, canter9.5, suppleness 9, self- carriage and balance 8.5 and rideability, work ethics and talent for dressage 9.” Out of a possible score of 10 for each quality graded”. At his test, riders praised Ampere as the best horse they had ridden in years.

Due to the great international request for foals, Ampere was withdrawn from performance and concentrated on breeding. Ampere was noted for being one of the best sires of all time; producing more than 20 approved stallions licensing of KWPN, Westphalia, So German Verbands and Holstein. His first crop of foals was in 2009 and 2010. By 2011 he was 2nd runner-up sire of the German foal licensing in Lienen. In 2011 at the Vetche auction a foal by Ampere sold for 200,000 Eu.

Ampere is known for an elegant and beautiful head, natural balance and self-carriage and expressive gaits. Ampere has a walk that is consistently clean and ground covering. His trot is big, well balanced and powerful. And his canter is dynamic and uphill. Note his performance scores!!

Lailah

Prince Royal’s dam, Lailah, instantly captures your eye as she moves in the show ring. She covers ground gracefully with her big floating trot, a dynamic canter and her self-confident manner.

In Sep 2017 she was the site champion at the KWPN Keuring and was later recognized as the Top Scoring Dressage Yearling for All of North America. “Rated # 1”
