"Py" is a Knabstrupper colt by Pegasus vom Niehaus-Hof and out of EM Walkyria (Weltbekannt x Wenzel I). He is a sport-type Knabstrupper with a blanket/near leopard pattern (still changing) with lots of charisma and a loving temperament. He has earned his preliminary stallion approval through the KNN, with high marks on his hindquarters, head/neck, and trot. He loves attention and is eager to please. His sire is a Paralympic mount in dressage with foals competing in the FEI levels, and his dam comes from top competition bloodlines. Walkyria was also the high scoring mare at her inspection site, and her other foals have all been considered highest level prospects, one of which is in training with an international eventing trainer and Olympic hopeful. He is currently turned out with a gelding and other colts in a large pasture where he can run and play and develop to his fullest potential. He leads, bathes, grooms, stands for the farrier, has shown in hand, free-jumps, and will start being ponied in preparation for staring under saddle next year, though we will not start longeing or riding until fall of 2016. With his bloodlines, temperament, and athleticism, he is sure to reach the highest levels of competition no matter the arena. Anticipated finishing height of 16.2h.
