3 Diamonds Farm is proud to present for a client: Qabernet VT, a stunning upper level dressage horse for sale! Fondly known in the barn as Fritz, he is a 9 year old, 17hh, well-bred Oldenburg gelding. A beautiful chestnut with stunning chrome, three tall white stockings and a pretty blaze. Virginia bred by Hilltop Farm, Fritz is out of the dam Dom Perignon by the stallion Qredit, with lines going back to Quarterback in his second generation, as well as Donnerhall and Rubinstein I in his fourth generation. As a purpose bred Oldenburg with this excellent breeding, Fritz was classified as a premium colt at his inspection.

Since then, Fritz has progressed quickly in his dressage training, solidly becoming a third level horse, but schooling much higher movements. A horse that truly enjoys his job in the dressage court, happily working day in and day out on some of his favorite movements. With much flash and presence, Fritz will get you noticed in the dressage court. Fritz carries himself naturally uphill, is very flashy, and just stunning carrying himself lightly in the contact. His trot work is easy to sit but still has the push and power needed to excel in the sport. Currently schooling trot and canter half passes, working on canter pirouettes, and his flying changes have come easy. This horse knows his job and is the real deal. On top of that, Fritz is a pleasure to have in any barn. Stands nicely at the mounting block. Hops right on the trailer for all his adventures. Same horse at home as he is off the property. Easy in turnout by himself or with others. Lovely ground manners. Stands nicely on the cross ties for grooming, clipping, and tacking, as well as in the wash stall for baths or braiding. A real kind, sweet horse that enjoys attention and will give hugs to his favorite people!

Since being in our sales program, Fritz has been working out in our fields, including in our busy jump field. He enjoys hacking out with his buddies. He is loving his cross training days too, happily doing pole work and jumping! Fritz recently went cross country schooling and tackled every beginner novice question easily, like he was a veteran and packer event horse. Water, up and down banks, color, brush, you name it, he did it the first time, easy as point and shoot! He also has been working on his stadium jumping. Fritz is very impressive with the power and natural form he has jumping, all while being careful and maintaining a nice pace around any course. He’s very honest to any jump and goes right over very easily. Super forgiving of any rider mistakes! If changed into an eventer, he’d definitely win the dressage phase and rock around the jumping phases too.
