Qochituate better known as “Q” in the barn is a 16 hand 2020 purpose bred Oldenburg gelding by the Hilltop Farm sire Qredit.

Q has only been under saddle since this winter but having gone through inspections since a yearling is very well adjusted and good mannered. Great to bathe, load, haul, groom, tack, tie. Good in the stall and out with others.

Currently walk, trot, canter and popping over small jumps. Has seen planks, banks, small fillers, water and isn’t phased by anything so far! Proven simple off property, I never have to lunge him before riding, can go several days off and be the same horse— truly can’t say enough good things about him! Scored a 71% in his first Intro dressage test off property winning his division and receiving many positive remarks from the judge.

Has the brain to excel with a good riding amateur or young rider (he is the best baby but still a baby!) under the guidance of a trainer, but also has all the talent to be an up and coming horse for a professional. Very calm and quiet while maintaining his own motor, responsive to the leg and not lazy.
