Quaterback/Diamond Hit/Roemer colt

SOLD - CONGRATULATIONS KERRIE!!! NEW VIDEO POSTED ON 4/26. Gorgeous bay colt with chrome born March 23, 2011. By the sensational stallion Quaterback out of a beautiful Diamond Hit/Roemer mare.

The mare, Dubonnet, was rated Premium as a foal. She has a tremendous walk and nice lofty trot and canter. Her temperamant is exceptional. The sire of Dubonnet, Diamond Hit, became Reserve Champion at the 2002 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden and at the 2002 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. The year prior, he was reserve regional and reserve Bundeschampion in the four-year old stallion division. At the 2001 Bundeschampionate, the German ministry of Agriculture proclaimed him Best Licensed and Performance Tested stallion. Diamond Hit descends from the best bloodlines. His sire Don Schufro, who has been leading the FN-Breeding Value Index since 2001, is currently competed by the Danish Andreas Helgstrand at Grand Prix level. His dam, Elite Mare Loretta, produced licensed sons Sandro Hit, Diamond Hit and Royal Hit, making her the source of one of the most successful Oldenburg mare lines of her generation. Ramino and Welt As complete Diamond Hit?s pedigree and are world class performance sires. The damsire of Dubonnet is the famous Roemer. Roemer was one of the first approved Dutch Warmblood breeding stallions imported into the United States in 1985. Roemer moved from a career as an International Grand Prix Jumper in Holland to a Grand Prix Dressage horse in the U.S. Listed as the top producing sire of USDF Horses of the Year over an 11-year period in the United States, Roemer is the first breeding stallion to be inducted into the USDF Hall of Fame. As the first KWPN stallion living outside of the U.S. to be awarded the Preferent Predicate by the KWPN, Roemer set himself apart from all other stallions in the U.S., and distinguished himself as one of only three other stallions in the world awarded this status. This predicate was based upon Roemer's dressage competition record as well as the international success of his offspring. The breathtaking nature of this wonderful stallion delighted audiences with his larger than life presence, physical beauty, and harmonious work at the Grand Prix Level. Roemer's strength of character, intelligence, beauty, and sensitivity made him a legend in his own time. His breeding record was truly outstanding, and his many sons and daughters excelled in both jumping and dressage competition.

The sire of this colt is the magnificent stallion Quaterback. Quaterback is a noble stallion with tremendous magnetism and charm and with his unbelievably accentuated movements he enthralls his audience at every event. He also has very correct conformation as well as excellent interior values. His foal crops have been impressively consistent; he passed his brilliant movement, round, strong type with good topline, and especially open characters. He started his stallion career by being named Champion of his licensing in Neustadt/Dosse in 2005. He was also winner of the Bundeschampionat in the class for three year old riding stallions in 2006 in Warendorf; highest scores for trot and canter. Both test riders honored his rideability with the highest score of 10.0. He won several tests for young riding horses as well as his 30-day test (total score 8.89; final score with emphasis on dressage 9.75; final score with emphasis on jumping 8.43). Quaterback uses his body as nothing you have ever seen. He is the talk of the town in Germany, with movements that can only be described as incredibly supple, strong and uphill. Quaterback's lineage is exceptional. Please refer to our website for further information and pictures of Quaterback's background.

With such a strong background in this colt's pedigree, it will be destined for the big ring. Purchase this special colt for $16,500 prior to inspection!
