QUE VIVA is a gorgeous registered Oldenburg mare with 3 beautiful gaits and definite FEI potential. She is turning 6 this year and already schooling 3rd level. She is super quiet and safe, and would be totally suited to an amateur rider. Her breeder and part-time rider is a 70+ year old lady, sadly selling for family reasons. She would like this mare to go to a good home.
Que Viva stands at 16'1h but she is rather wide and with a long neck, so a 5'8 rider like in the video will not look big on her.
She has never been shown so would love to be in a program where she will learn to discover the world with a trainer who has experience with young horses.
She has a wonderful uphill canter that can easily collect, with clean flying changes both ways, a rythmic and elegant trot, and a clear 4 beat walk with a lot of overtrack. She is a confortable horse with great rideability and good acceptance of the aids.
This mare is also an excellent jumper, and would be a great addition to any breeding program. Between her sire QREDIT HILLTOP and her dam FARAWAY she combines lines of horses with outstanding rideability that have produced numerous amateur horses and Grand Prix horses both in dressage and jumping.
QREDIT is a 4-star stallion with ISR Oldenburg and one of the top young dressage hopefuls in the US. This past year at only 9 years old he was 6th place at the USEF Developing Grand Prix Championship with rider Michael Bragdell. Qredit was also undefeated as a yearling in all his in-hand classes winning Grand Championship at Fairhill and Dressage at Devon.
Qrefit's sire, Quaterback, was the winner of the 3 year old Bundeschampionat as a 3 year old, and winner of his 30 day performance test with a 9.75 for rideability.
FARAWAY, Que Viva's dam, also produced 2 mares now competing in FEI dressage one of which is a successful CDI Grand Prix horse. Viva also has 2 siblings that are successful HIgh Amateur jumpers. Through her dam, Que Viva combines some of the best Selle Français lines like Grandsire I LOVE YOU, lines known not only for their jumping ability but also for their heart and willingness under saddle.
Que Viva is a wonderful prospect, ready to move on to new adventures. She has no vices, clean basic Xrays done in late 2015. She clips, loads, turns out alone or in a group, and would be a great addition to any barn.
