Quilato is a 2011 grey Holsteiner colt (Quinar x Calato x Lacapo x Carneval). His sire, Quinar, is a 16.2h Holsteiner stallion that is siring successful jumping horses left and right...Quick Nick, Quinthago, Quality, Quasimodo, Eurocommerce Memphis, Quintender, Quinton....grand prix champions and at least 16 approved stallions to date have Quinar as their sire. Quinar has progeny moving up the levels in the young horse classes as well. In addition, Quinar also jumped internationally with Jos Lansink. Quilato's dam, G Bo Pa June, is a 17.1h imported Holsteiner mare that was a grand prix horse. June's uterine sister, Meret, jumped internationally and was ranked in the WBFSH standings in 2003/04. Meret has produced one offspring, who was imported and is competing in grand prix.
Quilato is the full sibling to a 2010 filly we bred. This filly was premium, scored 8/8 at her AHHA inspection, was the highest scoring foal at the inspection, and was a 2010 AHHA foal futurity winner. Quilato is extremely similar to the 2010 filly...he is correct, fancy, and he can move too! He is handled daily and very friendly. This is an excellent opportunity to own an athletic, well bred, quality Holsteiner colt that has the potential to excel in the show ring.
