This guy is full of personality! And his pedigree is to die for! His Sire is Quinta Real. Quinta Real is the Dutch VDL stallion. Most important, carrying the blood from his grandfather. Quidam de Revel was one the the top stallions of his generation. He was a Selle Francais stallion that everyone recognizes as one of the most important Jumpers of our time. He passed away in 2014. Through his offspring he passes on his important French blood! ( although he was the first Jumper cloned, I am very against cloning... that is another discussion )
With the Selle Francais breeding organization mostly defunct in the USA, Selle horses have lost their favor with breeders. ( this due to difficulties with registration of foals ) But there are ways to get this important blood! I decided in this route. There were 2 of his offspring Grandsons that caught my eye. First we go to the stallion guru Paul Schockemohle and see he offers the stallion Quintender. Second was Quinta Real available from the Westphalian state stud. I researched and discovered that at the 2013 Bundeschampionate, in the top 25 Quidam blood was present 3 times. ( here also via son Nabab de Reve). In 2014 at the Bundeschampionate, Quinta Real offspring was in the top 10! On the Dam's side you find , CAPTAIN FIRE who won the German Championship for 5 year old Show Jumpers.
CAPTAIN FIRE is know not only for his great character, amazing jump, but also for his elastic fluid gaits that are most impressive when seen in a jumper of this standard
Last in the pedigree, you find Stallion Rockwell. Now here explains more about where Quinn gets his very impressive gaits. Rockwell was talented in Dressage and Jumping, but maybe most well known now as the sire of the incredible Rock Forever.
