Radiant is a lovely dressage horse that shows great promise. Imported from Germany in-utero, he is very modern dressage type with a wonderful '9' walk, a very smooth, easy to sit trot and a large active canter. Radiant is currently showing Third Level (scoring up to 67% at Third Level Test Three) and is schooling Fourth Level and higher movements. He has confirmed flying changes, excellent working pirouettes and enjoys lateral movements and half-steps. He is a kind, calm, loving horse with an engaging personality and will stand for hours to be brushed, groomed and snuggled. He is the ideal partner for a professional rider or a serious Ad.Am. competitor with his elegant looks, easy smooth movement and willing personality. He a clinically sound horse with excellent hard-ground flexion tests; he has wonderful strong, dark feet, clean legs and is free of all vices. He has no gastric, soundness, allergy, colic or respiratory issues and requires no joint/lameness maintenance or supplements. He does have some imperfections on his radiographs. Digital radiographs are available to share with interested parties along with open vet records and we have X-rays on file from 2014 and new radiographs taken January 2019 for comparison with very little changes over the past 5 years while in full work. He is not spooky and enjoys long hacks and schooling outside in the fields. He is a naturally forward, light horse that can be ridden without spurs or a whip. You can ride one handed walk-canter-walk transitions on him and also one handed flying changes and working pirouettes. Although tall, he is a narrow and very much suited to a female rider (rider in videos is 5'11). He clips, ties, baths and trailers quietly and is calm and levelheaded in new environments. He has demonstrated calm, patience with beginner level riders while always remaining naturally forward thinking.

Radiant gains his beautiful elegance, kind temperament and classical gaits from his genetics. His sire Ramoneur is a successful Grand Prix horse in Germany and competed in the Olympic Games in Rio! Ramoneur's sire Rohdiamant was Bundeschampion (German Federal Champion) as a 3 year old and went on to be an exciting Grand Prix horse, partnered with Lisa Wilcox and named to the US Olympic Team in Sydney. Ramoneurs dam-sire Alabaster is a stunning refining sire who has also produced Grand Prix offspring including Isabelle Werths Apache.

Radiant’s dam Verband’s Premium Sudorme’s pedigree is exceptionally interesting. She is one of two mares ever bred in Germany with the particular bloodline combination of Dormello and Donnerschwee, which features line-breeding to both Donnerhall and Freiherr. The other mare, Donna Carina is mother to SPH Dante (Welfenadel x Dormello x Donnerschwee) who broke the world record auction price for a dressage horse, selling for 2.8 million Euros at the PSI December 2014 auction in Germany. Her sire, the Grand Prix dressage stallion Dormello hails from the fantastic dressage stallion Dream of Heidelberg. Her ability was proven when she earned her Verband’s Premium Stute title in Germany at her Mare Performance Testing at Vechta.
