Ragazzo (Italian for Boyfriend) is a gorgeous and modern horse with top performance bloodlines. Ragazzo is sired by the famous stallion Rousseau (picture #5) and his Mom Ravenna (picture #4) was sired by the incredible stallion Rotspon. This is an uphill, elastic horse with an extremely sweet, in your pocket type personality. Ragazzo is a horse who I bred and started myself. He is a sound, healthy, smart, kind and willing horse. He is schooling second and third level and has very well started flying changes. Ragazzo has talent for both the extended and collected work. He also really enjoys jumping and is scopey and brave over fences (as you can see at the end of the video). Ragazzo is barefoot and has amazing feet. He was awarded with Premuim foal at his inspection and his high score made him the Champion of his inspection.

However, Ragazzo is a sensitive boy who requires the right rider to bring him to his full potential. Ragazzo is a willing and kind horse.
He is not a naughty horse (he never bucks or rears or bolts and can even sit for days and then get ridden without being lunged), but he lacks confidence and needs a rider who has the ability and time to give him. Because of my life circumstances I do not have the time and he is not getting what he deserves from me (he is currently only working a couple of days each week). I have him priced here because I want to pick the perfect home for him. The right person would enjoy horses on the hot side and be a rider who is not in a hurry to accomplish things, but will give him the time and exposure to new situations he needs in order to further develop and gain confidence. This ideal rider needs to enjoy a forward thinking horse. Ragazzo has incredible potential to be an upper-level dressage horse and/or an event horse and may even make a successful hunter.
