Gentle black son of FEI stallion Rubinero (Rubinstein I – Ex Libris – Furioso II) - A junior rider's dream partner!

"Ringo" is a junior rider's dream partner! At four years old, he has just begun his under saddle work, demonstrating the consistent temperament of his stallion's offspring - gentle, willing, and steady. Ringo is an easy keeper - lives out with the young horse herd (well socialized), handles easily/respectfully, trailers, bathes, tacks up, trims, etc, without drama. His personality is well-suited for an amateur rider or ambitious junior rider on a budget. His temperament, conformation, and gaits support progressive training with the goal for showing in dressage or low-level hunters. Cute, cadenced trot and rocking horse canter. Fluid, relaxed walk under tack and under saddle. No maintenance (maintains condition on coastal grass and Ultium Growth). Really great feet (barefoot). UTD on all health (vax, deworming, coggins). Registered Old NA. Expected to grow to 16.1 hh (currently 16.0hh).

Priced accordingly: Ringo is a cribber, a habit he picked up when rehabbing from a minor procedure as a weanling (check ligament on front left leg). He is non-destructive to our facility and is entirely sound. Ringo makes up for this minor inconvenience by being an absolute puppy-dog and very patient, calm young horse. Adding to his sweet quirkiness, Ringo does have an overbite, which has zero impact on his ability to eat or wear a bit, as verified by our dental vet (he goes in a snaffle, currently). Despite the misalignment on his front teeth, his molars line up up both sides.

This is an incredible opportunity to acquire these bloodlines and a promising sporthorse prospect with a phenomenal temperament at an accessible price point not common for a horse of this caliber!

About his sire, Rubinero (from Hilltop's website): https://www.hilltopfarminc.com/stallion/rubinero/

"At his 70-Day Stallion Test, Rubinero finished 2nd in the dressage phase with a score of 140+ points and finished 3rd place overall. His character and rideability earned him perfect 10’s. Rubinero qualified for the Bundeschampionat, was Reserve Champion at Rastede, and quickly rose to the Advanced levels. Imported to the US in 2013, Rubinero continued his winning ways under an AA rider and was the USDF Region 3 Champion at Intermediaire and Reserve Champion at Prix St. Georges.

Rubinstein, Rubinero’s sire, is a legend with over 90 approved sons, more than 140 States Premium daughters, and his offspring have won over 2.5 Million Euro in competition. Rubinero’s dam, Faola, passed her Mare Performance Test with an overall score of 8.36, receiving a 9.0 for willingness to perform, canter, rideability, free jumping technique and a 10.0 for free jumping ability. She has produced two licensed stallions, multiple advanced level dressage horses, and a 1.40m jumper. With Ex Libris and Furioso in the mix, what a versatile pedigree Rubinero offers.

We universally hear praise from breeders on the Rubinero offspring’s type and outstanding temperaments. With a licensed stallion, States Premium Mares, and many Premium Foals we know the consistent quality this stallion sires. From young horse classes through the FEI levels, including competing at the WEG and European Championships, Rubinero offspring shine. Their trainability, talent, and jumping ability have proven them successful in the hunter ring as well with multiple division and Zone Horse of the Year champions to his credit."
