Update: Raven has been trailered to a different barn and ridden in their big indoor and outdoor arenas and was amazing in all aspects; from loading to being there to riding. We have also been trail riding him and he LOVES it. Take a canter on the trail or he'll navigate you through the thickest of woods, walks right over large downed logs, doesn't care about deer running in woods. Can this young pony get any better!!

Raven is a 4 yr old, black, section D Welsh gelding. Measuring at 14.1 hands.

This beautiful boy has been a dream to break and begin the training process on. He had one of the best young horse lives you could ask for, getting to roam on a 2000acre pasture in Canada, he was on different terrains and growing up in a very natural way. He was pulled off the field and brought to the USA and is well on his way to a career undersaddle. He has learned how to crosstie, saddle, bridle, lunge in side reins. He can w,t,c undersaddle, is learning leg yields, working over cavalettis and hacking out. He has had 5 different riders on him and has never threatened to buck, rear, bolt.

Raven can live outdoors or in a stall. He has great feet and legs. Is barefoot and sound.

He has 3 lovely gaits and I'm excited to see Raven develop. He has a nice overstride in his walk, excellent jump in his 3 beat canter and a nice steady rythym in his trot with excellent articulation of his joints. He is a forward thinking pony with easy transitions. He is incredibly smooth and nice in the reins. Raven will be a blast to show in the pony classes and compete in the pony Championships. Raven is ready to take out and compete at training and would be able to do 1st level mid-summer with the correct guidance. If you want a fun guy to do whatever you want with but still be competitive in the dressage ring Raven is your friend. And did I mention how beautiful he is?
