Raven about that Mare, aka Raven, is a 2020 Oldenburg filly that currently stands 16.1 hands and is expected to finish approximately 17 hands. She is and interesting combination of jumping and dressage bloodlines. She has three correct gaits with a powerful hind end. Her personality is suitable for an amateur. She loads, ties, stands for the farrier and is UTD everything, She is being raised by her breeder, that happens to be a veterinarian, in a mixed age herd. She took her first outing in without pause, she was cool and calm. She is certain to make a good show horse.

Raven's sire, Conto Van De Helle, has been show sucessfully in the Ocala winter jumper circuit and has bloodlines leading back to prominent jumping sires including Cassini 1, Landgraf and Contender. Her grandsire Castelino Van De Helle was piloted by David Oberkircher for the United State and has a long list of approved/licensed stallion offspring in Europe.

Raven's dam, elite Hanoverian mare Pikk Diva HU, is sired by Pik L. Pik L hardly needs any introduction as both a proven producer and competitor. He placed 4th in his 100 day test in Germany, and has since trained and shown successfully through Grand Prix. In 2003, he placed 4th in the Pan American Games and in 2007 was the reserve horse. In 2004, at CHIO Aachen, placed 4th in the i-1 Freestyle with a 73.25%, then came home to the states and won the PSG and I-1 Freestyle at Dressage at Devon with scores in the 70's. In 2005, he was on the gold medal team and placed 1st individually at the USDF Junior Team Championships and the following year won all the 3 junior classes with scores up to 73%. His historic transition from professional to junior rider showcased Pik L's incredible temperament.As a producer Pik L's offspring are multi-talented, competing in dressage and jumping. He has produced young horses who've qualified for the USEF/Markel National Young Horse Dressage Championships, including Pikko del Cerro HU who won as a 5 and 6 year old and who is also licensed with the American Hanoverian Society.

Raven's great-dam sire Dollberg was shown successfully through I1 dressage and is sired by the stallion Duft !!, one of the most proven stallions of his day.
