Recess, born in 2009, is a spectacular dark bay gelding that is 15’3 hands with lots show experience including Regional and National competition success. He is a kind, loving, people pleasing horse, with the capability to teach beginner riders fundamentals. He gets continuous positive feedback from the judges on his lovely presentation and movements. Recess won the first and second level junior/young rider Championship title in Region 4 in 2018 and in Region 2 in 2019, as well as Dressage Seat Equitation with his 15-year-old Junior rider. She also took him to Festival of Champions in 2018 where they placed 5th in FEI Childrens and 6th in 18 and under Dressage Seat Equitation Medal Finals. In 2014 and 2015 a trainer took him to US Dressage Finals where he placed top ten in training and first level. He was broke through natural horsemanship, resulting in great ground manners, loads easy and trailers quietly, and is currently training in Kentucky with Angela Jackson. Recess would be a perfect, safe second level school master for a junior or adult amateur rider.
