Reminiscent Rhapsody (Remi) is a three year old registered/branded Oldenburg mare that is sure to turn heads! She is a spitting image of her sire Reconnaissance, a stunning 2013, 17 hand, black Hanoverian stallion by the impressive Rubignon, a black 16.2h Oldenburg stallion, listed for the Swedish Dressage team in 2008 and 2009 with 17 GP wins and placings including international wins in his name. Rubignon – Rubinstein/Donnerhall/Pik Solo, 4 generations of Grand Prix and international performance combined with fantastic character, temperament and type.
Remi has also inherited amazing genetics from her dam line. Her dam, Sienna Sunrise, a 16.1 hand modern typed Hanoverian mare out of the impressive Sinatra Song!
Sinatra Song is a tall, black, elegant stallion that will deliver in his foals what his pedigree promises. He was Champion/Premium at his kouring in 2005. He also finished in the Reserve position at the 2006 Bundeschampionate, and was the highest scoring 3 year old Hanoverian. "Sinatra" has been a hugely successful sire since the start of his breeding career at High Point Hanoverians. He consistently produces elegant foals with impeccable movement and sound minds. His offspring have proven to be extremely rideable.
Remi is currently slightly over 16.2 hands with plenty more growing to do. She is an absolute joy to work with and has had all the ABCs of training. She stands like a soldier to have her feet trimmed, great for shots and enjoys bathes. She will self load onto the horse trailer and stand there calmly. She has been on road trips and handles new environments well. She does great in turnout and gets along with other horses but is fine being in the pasture alone if her herd mates leave. She is also great in the stall and does not have any bad vices. She has been started lightly undersaddle and will walk, trot, canter confidently while ridden. Does not require much preparation to ride. You can pretty much tack up and go! She has light training sessions three days a week. She is great to pony around the farm and has a calm demeanor. She enjoys going to work when we practice our ground work such as lunging, in-hand work and spending time in the round pen. She is not a reactive or spooky horse and I feel she would be great for a variety of disciplines. I also feel she is the horse you could enjoy trail riding as well as showing. She does have a cosmetic scar on her front right fetlock from an injury sustained as a foal. It does not affect her movement and is purely cosmetic but she does not grow hair on it.
