He has excellent conformation, super quality uphill gaits, superior trainability and an exceptional temperament. He has everything it takes to excel in FEI Young Horse dressage classes as he continues his progression towards FEI dressage. Renaissance has the talent to interest a professional rider and the temperament and rideability to suit an Amateur or Young Rider. He debuted in USDF recognized shows in Sep.2015 at both Training and 1st Level with scores to 76% and was easily qualified for USDF Regional Championships where he placed very well in both competitive classes. Renaissance was also invited to the annual USDF Sport Horse Prospects Forum in Oct.2015. Renaissance is now schooling 2nd level and ready to go to an exceptional performance home to continue his FEI development with a top trainer. Renaissance is bred for dressage. His sire, Rousseau, is a KWPN stallion by Ferro who is known for his superb rideability, scope and power. Rousseau was the Silver Medalist at the 2003 FEI World Young Horse Championships and has produced numerous licensed dressage sons and other talented offspring. His dam, Elite Mare Whitney, is a powerful Wolkenstein II granddaughter with exceptional gaits, rideability and temperament. Renaissance has numerous talented maternal siblings including EM Rebellienne HVH who was 2013 4yo Young Horse Dressage Champion, 2012 USDF Horse of the Year for 3yo material and Reserve Champion USDF Horse of the Year in-hand the same year. Another sibling, EM Radiance HVH accomplished a phenomenal score of 8.78 in her Hanoverian Mare Performance Test, the 2nd highest score the Hanoverians have ever given in the USA.
