Gorgeous Hanoverian Colt - Rubignon/Weltmeyer

Gorgeous 2014 dark bay Hanoverian colt.  Sired by Rubignon (Rubinstein/Donnerhall/Pik Solo) and out of the outstanding mare, Weltlan (Weltmeyer/Domingo).  Rubignon hardly needs an introduction and is known for his lovely temperament and incredible movement.  Her dam, Weltlan, is a Hanoverian mare by “stallion of the century”, Weltmeyer.  He was the champion of his stallion licensing in 1988 and won his stallion performance test in 1987 with an impressive 143.96 overall score.  He went on to be the Federal Champion 3 year old riding horse in Germany.  After producing several outstanding foal crops, Weltmeyer was awarded Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 1998.  Weltmeyer’s production record is countless, with nearly 100 licensed stallions and 250+ State’s Premium mares.  Weltmeyer is known for passing on excellent conformation and extravagant movement. Weltlan’s dam, Dom Perignon was the Champion Hanoverian mare at her inspection, receiving scores of 9 for head and type/femininity and 8’s for neck, saddle position, frame, conformation, and impulsion and elasticity.  At inspection, she received an overall 7.6, the sixth-highest scoring mare on the tour that year.  As a foal, Dom Perignon was the Grand Champion at the NCDCTA Fall Classic, where her full-sister, Dividende, was the Filly Champion the previous year.  Weltlan’s dam sire, Domingo, was a highly successful Hanoverian dressage stallion.  Weltlan has lived up to her prestigious breeding, winning the very competitive Hanoverian IBC class at Dressage at Lexington with an impressive 82.0%.  She went on to be Champion of her Mare Inspection and has produced several outstanding foals for our program.
This colt is the third foal from this extremely successful cross for our program.  One full sibling, a black gelding, Ryszard, finished the 2011 year as the 3rd highest scoring Hanoverian weanling colt in the US and ranked 7th across all breeds for DSHB.  In 2013, he showed in the American Hanoverian Society's 2 Year Old Futurity, scoring a respectable 71.8% and finishing high in a large group of entrants throughout the country. Ryszard is starting under saddle now and has a great work ethic, big ground-covering gaits, and has been very easy to bring along. The second is a black filly, Ritanza, who is very typey with a super disposition.
This colt is gorgeous and extremely affectionate.  Very correct, balanced, and modern in type.  Three ground-covering gaits with great suspension.  He is easy to handle and playful in the field.  If he is anything like his full siblings, he will be a fancy young colt with a very trainable disposition for the dressage or hunter rings. Take advantage of his great pre-weaning price. Price includes inspection, registration, branding, and free board until weaning.

First set of pictures are of Rendezvous. Black yearling and black gelding under saddle are full siblings. Bay mare is dam, Weltlan.
