River is a 2017, 16H very dark grey mare sired by Rosenthal who was the USEF #1 ranking hunter breeding stallion of the year for 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019! Her dam is an 8 year old riding horse with fantastic trainability and easy flying changes (schooling 4th level), who is sired by Liberty Gold. River is not currently registered but could easily be registered as an Oldenburg.
River is intelligent and bright with that in your pocket personality. She is light in the hand and steady to the aids. She has three excellent gaits, especially her lovely rocking horse canter and perfect confirmation. She would excel with an amateur or junior in a professional program where she can be brought along to her full potential.
River is offered for sale by her second owner (she was purchased as a resale project that I’m quickly regretting, wish I could keep her), who has handled her since birth, being a close friend to the breeder. She has been started slowly and correctly at the W/T/C and she continues to improve with every ride.
