RHF Melodia is an outstandingly put together 8-year-old, grey, Andalusian cross mare.

Standing 15.2 (maybe 15.3), Melodia is sound, barefoot, sweet, sensitive, athletic, and in-your-pocket.

This mare is a MUST-see for any competent, confident rider looking to get a lot of horse for an excellent price. Whether that's an ambitious, talented adult amateur in a program with trainers, or a trainer looking for their next personal show horse, Melodia is sure to get you noticed in the ring.

Like most Iberians, Melodia is sweet, personable, and soft-eyed. She has three beautiful, correct gaits, and riding her is like sitting on a cloud. She goes confidently walk, trot, canter on the lunge and under saddle, and has a lovely shoulder-in, leg yield, and has the very beginnings of lengthening work as well. She has also worked in both a double and snaffle bridle.

Melodia is also a very sensitive, very forward mare. It makes for personality and expression, but also makes her best suited to riders as mentioned above, because she is a horse who is at her best when she is in regular work.

RHF Melodia has also been bred successfully once and has a beautiful 75% Andalusian filly on the ground (not bred by me).

She is up to date on all of her vaccinations, and her teeth were floated in May of 2022. She has spectacular feet that have never required shoes, and no soundness or maintenance issues. I did a PPE when I purchased this remarkable mare in September of 2020, which included x-rays, and I am pleased to share those with seriously interested parties.

I have decided to step away from horse ownership for a while, which is the reason she is listed.

Melodia is now in full time training with a classical dressage instructor, and has been since April, 2022. I am very motivated to find her the absolute perfect situation and so can negotiate on price within reason, although if she remains in training for several months, her price is likely to increase rather than decrease, as she is a fast, fast learner and is improving in leaps and bounds!
