Rigoletto is a large 17.2 hand, uphill, nice confirmation, big boned, eye-catching, dark bay Hanoverian gelding. He comes with a solid pedigree boasting Regazzoni/Rubinstein (sire) and Debora/Donnerhall (dam). He only wants to please and is an easy horse to train, with great natural balance and big movement. Rigs loves attention, wanting to be in your lap and has NO VICES.

At his first dressage show he scored a 69% and at his second show he won High Point Hanoverian with his 66.5% at Training level. In May 2018 he won High Point Hanoverian again, but in first level with a 68.8%. The judges always love his consistency and look of ease and ride-ability. He always scores plenty of 7-8's.

His basics are solid, with very nice transitions and elasticity. He does shoulder-ins, haunches in/out, turn on the forehand and turn on the haunches, and has nice leg yields. Right now we are working on counter canter, more balance, stronger extensions, and better collections.

He is happiest and best suited to be a full time dressage horse. A pro can have fun on him, but he is also safe enough and easy enough for a young rider or adult amateur to enjoy.

He has proven himself to bring in the blue ribbons with ease, and gets compliments from everyone everywhere he is seen!

Rigs is up to date on all vaccines, got his teeth floated Feb 2018 and is micro chipped according to USEF regulations. He gets along with mares, geldings, and foals out in the pasture.
