Lucy is a smart and friendly mare, and standing at 15 hands she is the perfect size for a smaller rider! Though she does have a wide barrel, and can easily take up the leg of a taller rider too (rider in video is 5’10”). She has lovely ground manners; loads and trailers like a dream, clips, ties and bathes easily, can be turned out in a herd or by herself and will come running up to you in the pasture. She has excellent feet and is kept barefoot year round, and she’s also a super easy keeper. She has lifetime registrations with both USDF and USEF.
Lucy has floaty and elastic gaits and a gorgeous jumping form that make her an excellent hunter/jumper and/or dressage prospect. She also has the power and quickness needed for the jumper ring, and is brave enough for someone to take cross country. Lucy has been shown at Training level with scores at 73.00 and is schooling 1st level movements. She is currently in training at a Hunter/Jumper barn.
