He got first place and second place at a local show in low jumpers on 7/11/15! Check out the video of him showing at 2 different shows.

He is bred for the Hunter/jumper/equitation ring, but has also won in the dressage ring!

Rio went to his first dressage show on May 16 and got a 61.5 on his First Level, test 1 test. He had never been to a dressage show or even in a dressage court and was ridden by a girl who had never ridden a dressage test before May 16. He was awarded an 8 for gaits, a 7 for submission and the German judge's comments were "a very athletic horse"
Rio Grande was his sire, and his mother is an english/irish TB. His sire represented Canada in the Olympics, and numerous jumping winnings at Spruce Meadows and across the USA. Rio’s offspring have been very. very successful in the hunter or jumper rings.
