River City FD is one of the very first foals of Finnick TGS. Finnick is the product of Grand Prix dressage and jumper horses. His sire, the famous “Black Pearl,” Olympic Ferro, needs no introduction, while his damsire, the multi talented Russian Trakhener, Oskar II began his career as a jumper before transitioning to a Grand Prix dressage career after import to the United Stated. Finnick TGS has passed on his outstanding temperment, type and strong hind leg to this tall son!

Dam, Galiba, is a 3/4 sister to the Holsteiner stallion, Lotus T, sharing the blue hen dam, Key Moment xx. She is sired by the Lemgo son, Lasting Impression, who was successful both as a Grand Prix jumper and in the hunter ring, with a personality that was so quiet that even after a long career at stud, he was sold to a teen and was allowed to be used in her college riding program, with most people not even realizing that he was a stallion. Galiba competed successfully in the young event horse classes finishing fourth in the four year old championships. She is graded premium with the Holsteiner Verband and earned both E-Labels and completed the mare performance tests with BWP. She has produced several premium Holsteiner and Belgian Sporthorse foals, all of which inherit her kind personality, gorgeous top line, and rocking horse canter.

River City has already impressed us with his friendly personality and calm nature. He is expected to mature well over 17 hands and while he shows strong talent for dressage, he could also make an amazing equitation or three ring type of horse.
