Rootin' Tootin' TYG!
This warmblood yearling was born late June 2023, he is quite the charming and polite gentleman, with a naturally sweet, brave, focused and curious mind, effortless athleticism, and great conformation and flashy markings. He has very good manners and focus, a quick people-pleasing personality (think Rubinstein) and a joy to be around. He is pasture raised in a mixed age herd with daily handling, regular trimming and worming, and utd on vaccines. Because of his size, his diet has been carefully controlled to subscribe to current guidelines to prevent any OCD, and is there is no genetic predisposition to OCD.
Rootin' Tootin' has impeccable DNA that includes some of the best performance horses : German and Dutch Warmblood, Oldenburg, Hanoverian, and old European thoroughbred bloodlines:
He carries the European dressage and jumping lines of Rosario (Rubinstein, Calypso, Abhang), Waikiki,, Furioso II, Lehndorff, Weltmeyer, Bolero, and Art Deco, Prinz Gaylord, and Gofine (who founded the Gottard line).
Futhermore, about a quarter of his DNA consists of the best of the thoroughbred lines including Northern Dancer, Pas de Nom, Distorted Humor, Seattle Slew, to ensure optimal performance in our new "hot-weather world".
…. Does this shout FEI EVENTER? Top AO HUNTER/Equitation or AOJumper? yep, check all three, depending on what training track his new owner decides to persue.
Rootin' Tootin' is bound to excel in any discipline: he has the athleticism and movement of a warmblood, but also has the "look" and refinement for a top hunter. He is a respectful, kind, quality companion and will be a very competitive partner. He is as yet uncut since his DNA warrants consideration as a stallion candidate, and (if appropriately raised) his kind, quiet, respectful personality will allow him to simultaneously be a performance horse if his new owner desires. But of course, he will make a wonderful flashy gelding.
Like all our youngsters, he has been pasture/field raised for best tendon/bone/ligament strength. He has good feet and bone structure... but currently, like most warmblood yearlings, you have to look at his baby pictures to set a sense of who he will be, since tall yearlings look like tall gangly adolescents, developing different body parts at different times ;) Of course, as he grows into his flashy body, his price will increase appropriately.
