Rose has three correct FEI quality gaits that are light off the ground. She has an exceptional walk, naturally engaged canter, and good trot. She is well balanced and naturally athletic and has a stunning presence about her. Rose has the same body type and balance as her very successful sire Rubinero. She has always been easy to bend through her entire body and with her natural balance will develop some amazing lateral movements with more strength and training. This super sweet girl is easy to sit and light in the bridle with an amazing work ethic. Her ground manners are fabulous (loves to be loved and cuddled), and she is easy to catch in the pasture, load, clip, and stands for the farrier.
Rose was raised on a ranch in a herd environment and had acres and acres to run and move, developing strong bone, ligaments, and tendons along with learning herd hierarchy. She had a later start and has been in professional training since late spring 2021. She is not yet a beginner’s horse as she still looks to the rider for confidence and leadership. She is a horse with the breeding and talent to easily rise to the upper levels.
Rubinero: At his 70-Day Stallion Test, Rubinero finished 2nd in the dressage phase with a score of 140+ points and finished in 3rd place overall. His character and rideability earned him perfect 10’s. Rubinero qualified for the Bundeschampionat, was Reserve Champion at Rastede, and quickly moved up to the Advanced levels. Imported to the US in 2013, Rubinero continued his winning ways with his amateur owner, earning scores as high as 72.5% at Intermediaire I. He was the USDF Region 3 Champion at Intermediaire and Reserve Champion at Prix St. Georges.
