Born and raised in Germany, Karin has been living in the US since 1986. Growing up around horses made the decision to leave a corporate job to work with horses full time very easy. Germanshowhorses was founded almost 25 years ago mainly to utilize Karin's connections with trusted breeders and help amateurs and professionals alike find their next Warmblood at a reasonable price for show, resale, investment or even their "horse of a lifetime". A couple of times a year (or whenever needed) the trip to Europe is made along with clients and to connect with breeders and barn owners Today, we live quietly on a small farm in Camden, S.C. with a few horses and our German Shepherd, Chase.
