Royal Cadence was bred to be a top level performer. His lineage includes many of the "whos who" in the dressage world.
His sire Royal Prinz is an elegant, long-legged stallion has had a long FEI career that includes CDI wins in Wellington, Tryon, Saugerties, and San Juan Capistrano. He was the 2012 Reserve Champion of the USEF National Championships at Intermediaire, USDF All-Breeds Champion at Prix St. Georges, USDF All-Breeds Reserve Champion at Intermediaire I, and 3rd in USDF Horse of the Year standings. Under several riders, he has proven his talent and consistency.
His Dam Quartet-GSH was Top Filly of AHS Inspection, 2014 Dressage At Devon Fillies of 2014 ~ 1st Place, 2014 Dressage At Devon Reserve Champion Foal, 2014 Dressage at Devon USDF/GAIG East Coast Foal Final Champion and was awarded scores of 8 at her GOV inspection for mare approval. She was started under saddle for her MPT and was found to be a quick learner and a fluid, elastic mover. Quartet then became a broodmare because of her valuable bloodlines and has since produced lovely fillies by Sandro Hit and Kjento who were both sold to performance homes.
Quartet's Sire Qredit has surpassed expectations each step of the way. He’s been Grand Champion of Dressage at Devon, Champion of his 70-Day Stallion Test (earning ten scores of 9 or higher), Reserve Champion of the USEF Young Horse National Championships, 2x USDF Horse of the Year winner with many USDF All-Breeds titles, Champion of the US Dressage Finals, and winner of the 2021 Devon CDI4* Grand Prix & Freestyle. His pedigree is packed with Grand Prix dressage horses.
