Proven Oldenburg producer w/ wonderful disposition

Lucy is a 2006, 16 hand Chesnut mare who is a registered jockey club thoroughbred who was born and raised here on Lagniappe Farm. She is approved Main Book Mare with the Oldenburg NA Society. Lucy was the lovely product of a mare we had purchased in foal. She is a great mover and has lovely hunter form over fences. She is a big bodied mare with a disposition that is none other. After successfully competing her at a couple of local horse shows, we decided to make her a permanent fixture . Lucy foaled on May 7, 2012 with a gorgeous smokey black colt "Max" by Escapade and on February 1, 2014 with a beautiful and very classy solid black filly "Mya" by Escapade as well. She is confirmed in foal to Dallas for April 1, 2015 foal. We are looking forward to an amazing foal by this wonderful duo. Lucy is a solid producer and very easy keeper who gets along with pasture mates very easily.

Lagniappe Farm

Settled in the scenic hills of Bellville, TX our sport horse breeding operation was established with the goal of producing top level show horses. We have chosen mares and stallions with athletic agility, good solid work ethic, natural talent and ability to be highly competitive. Our small operation consists of a solid group of proven mares that have been handpicked based of their bloodlines, conformation and experience in the show ring . The farm is set in a peaceful setting a few miles outside of town and our stock enjoy big pastures with lots of grass and shade trees, some even explore swimming in the ponds. No matter what time of the day or night the foals are born they are immediately imprinted, handled, and monitored. This level of attention continues as they grow up until they are sold into new homes. We do our best to expose the young ones to most of the regular things they might encounter along the way to becoming future champions. Please browse our site to see our latest arrivals and updates and feel free to contact us with any questions, from all of us at Lagniappe Farm we wish you the best --- Enjoy
