Saffron is a superb broodmare. Always catches easy and behaves as per the book. She is currently in foal with her fourth foal due end March 2020. This foal has sold.
This mare is so easygoing and sweet. Easy keeper and always just a joy to have around. I have had Saffy here for most of her life. She was born here and only spent a little time away. This is a difficult decision as she is a once in a lifetime kinda lady.
First two foals sold at a week old, last two foals sold inutero.
Saffron is a lovely mover and has a nice confirmation. She has produced three extremely sensible foals, two of which has been started and have been very easygoing.
She is an amateur breeders dream!
Saffy was started as a four year old and true to form was very easy. She is sound and could be ridden (after a re-start), but her career with me has been baby making. Saffron cannot leave until her March 2020 foal is weaned, but I will be of assistance getting her re-bred if that is of interest.
I am starting a second career and am realizing that there is not enough hours in the day.
