Offered directly from the breeder, Sakurada SD ("Cherry") is a 2023 Hanoverian filly by Sanceo out of a Dr. Wendell MF mare. We know Cherry's damline quite well; we have bred, started, trained, and sold multiple other horses in the mare family. They have been exceptionally easy to work with, with both the talent to be excellent competition horses as well as top temperaments.

Cherry is all black except for a tiny white star and snip. She is a sweet thing and comes right over to greet anyone walking towards her field. She leads, loads, and stands for the farrier.

Cherry's pedigree is lined with performance on both sides. Her sire is Sanceo, 2020 Silver medalist for Team USA. Sire's sire San Remo is a top dressage producer, placing 8th in the 2018 WBSFH ranking. Damsire Dr. Wendell MF is a Grand Prix, American-bred stallion who sold to Russia. Damsire sire Don Principe, also a Grand Prix stallion, was one of the top producers in the United States. Dam Dorothea SD was lightly started as a three year old, had Cherry as a four year old, and will be put back into under saddle work next year. We are retaining her as a riding horse and future broodmare. Dam's dam Winifred HL produced four foals for us before selling as a riding horse. Dam's dam's dam Fantasy H.L. showed to fourth level.
